Pastor's Breakfast


Dear Pastor,

 

This past year may be remembered as one of the most uncertain in American history. People everywhere are uneasy about lost jobs and homes. They’re not sure where to turn. But at such a time as this, we can find our faith lifting us up and giving us a sense of confidence that is only understandable to those who know the Lord. He is not affected by the collapse of our financial institutions. Our Lord is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Nothing is surprising or troublesome to Him!

 

In light of our current events, I know it is easy to become discouraged. We see our congregations struggling, many members crying out for help, and we do what we can with God’s wisdom and guidance. But sometimes we get discouraged. After working as a pastor for more than thirty years, I understand the ups and downs. I understand that sometimes pastors need a break, a time of replenishment, so we can go back to our congregations with a renewed desire to share God’s Word.

 

That is why I would like to invite you and your pastoral staff to join me for a morning of encouragement. I will be hosting a FREE Pastors’ Breakfast on Thursday, October 29th in Greenville. My prayer is that this will be a time of comfort and renewal for your ministry.
